Warranty Information

Lucas Lighting builds benchmark high quality automotive lighting products, and our customer satisfaction is of great importance.  Therefore, we offer a one year limited warranty on all products we make to the original purchaser.  Product warranty does not transfer to secondary owners.  Example:  Customer purchases Lucas Lighting bulbs, uses them, sells the vehicle, removes them and decides to sell them on eBay.  The secondary purchaser does not receive the original warranty.  

PLEASE BE AWARE.  Lucas Lighting allows by agreement sales by direct partners on their business website, which will be fully covered by our warranty.  Lucas Lighting DOES NOT authorize anyone to sell our products on third party marketplace websites (ex. Amazon.com, eBay.com, Walmart.com, etc.)  These products are considered used, as they are not being sold by an authorized agent.

 

Warranty Extension

Proper installation of your Lucas Lighting product is paramount to the performance and longevity.  Therefore, when professionally installed by our trained retail partners, we will extend the original limited warranty from 1 year to a total of 3 years.

 

Coverage

This limited warranty is provided by Lucas Lighting and there are no other warranties, expressed or implied, except as required by law, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a specific purpose, that are provided. Such implied warranties, if applicable, are limited to the duration of this limited product warranty period. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Lucas Lighting will not be held responsible for incidental, indirect, special, consequential or multiple damages as a result of the sale or use of this product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

This is a limited warranty, with coverage for defects in manufacturing or workmanship.  See the conditions of coverage outlined below.

Conditions and Limitations:

  1. Proof of purchase showing the product and date of purchase.

  2. Damage caused by accidents, abuse, misuse or modification (cut harnesses, physical damage, fire, etc.) of the product will void warranty.

  3. This warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser and is not assignable or transferable.

  4. The purchaser is required to send the product to our facility as outlined below at their cost.  We will prepay shipping charges to send your repaired or replaced product from our facility.

 

 

Obtaining Warranty Service

If you have purchased your Lucas Lighting product from one of our retail partners, we recommend contacting them for evaluation and replacement if needed.  If this is not a viable option, please contact us directly by phone at (630) 448-2947 or by email at orders@lucas-lighting.com.  We will provide a Return Authorization form to be completed to track your return, and allow us to properly repair or replace your item.  The number on the form must be clearly marked on the returned box for proper processing. We will request a copy of your proof of purchase clearly showing the product and date purchased.   While we strive to ship any repaired or replaced item within one business day, delays can occur, and we will advise you of any such delay.
